Creating your own home movies or presentations is easier with this suite. It includes a selection of tools for importing files in multiple formats, editing them by splitting, merging, mixing and adding various effects, previewing the results and uploading them as offline files or online streams.

Nero Video is a video editing tool featuring a complete set of instruments for all-round editing and creating of videos. It can deal with dozens of video codecs and formats, while visual effects and filters help you make the final video look as pro as you need. Installing the program is an easy task, but depending on your system it may take less or more time.

My first impression about the interface is that it could have been better. I don't find it very intuitive for a new user and it has almost an antique look, but not in a good way. Also, sometimes the main interface becomes laggy and the response time of your actions is too long.

Going further, the program embeds lots of functionalities. You can create movies using advanced video editing effects like tilt-shift, slow motion, keyframe animation and all sorts of transitions, audio filters or titles. Also, the black bar from the widescreen TV has been removed and more than 50 movie templates and effects have been added.

With Nero Video you can transfer your personal videos and photos from external devices to your computer and then store them in the Nero MediaHome library
for further editing. Moreover, you can export and burn your edited files at the highest quality with 4K, Full HD, and SD. Last but not least, it has a KnowHow Tab where you can find a download manual and training videos and which I find very useful.

In conclusion, Nero Video is a comprehensive multimedia tool that uses a lot of system resources and that suits pros best but that, at the same time, is easy to learn.
